We would like to take this opportunity on behalf of HCTM to thank the hundreds of students that participated in our first ever HCTM Problem of the Month for Kindergarten, 2nd, and 4th grade. I would also like to thank all of the teachers and parents that promoted student-based problem solving. The winners for the month of November are:

It was very challenging for the grade level representatives to choose the winning solutions. There were many solutions and strategies that were outstanding. You should all be proud of your problem solving abilities.
We hope that you participate again in January! Next month problems will be for 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade.
